This high elevation, bourbon variety, washed process coffee scored exceptionally high and is one of our most popular. This medium roast is jucy and subtly tart with a complex finish and smooth mouthfeel. Notes of caramel, sugar cane juice, and chocolate.
Coming from the SOPACDI cooperative in the Northern region of Lake Kivu in Congo, this cooperative, and the coffee it produces, has come a long way since it began in 2005. SOPACDI was the first cooperative to achieve Fair Trade certification in Congo, and this coffee also carries organic certification.
